In its mission to transform lives, the church has several arms. Some of these departments have continued, new ones have been added and some have become defunct. Included among the defunct is the Drama Group which was noted for doing well at the Youth for Christ Rallies. The Men’s Fellowship has never taken root in Bethel and so survived for a short while. The Boys Scout and Girl Guides movements led by Bro Robert Wiggan and Sis Brenda Reid and Megan Godfrey were also short lived. The library has been an area that has functioned for some time, been stopped and has restarted. Plans are afoot to start it again. One means of transforming lives at an early stage is the Cradle Roll Programme. However, it did not survive its infancy. Also included among the defunct is the Action Group. This group was formed in 1974 and had an active ministry of witnessing and follow-up. The Missions and Evangelism Committee now does the work it once did.
